نسبت حسابات وصفحات على فيسبوك، مؤخراً، تصريحاً إلى الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع مفادها أنه كان سيحضر القمة العربية لو كانت في أربيل عاصمة إقليم كردستان، ولن يحضرها في بغداد، لكن البحث الذي أجراه فريق True Platform أظهر خلاف ذلك.
خلاصة:
الادعاء بأن الرئيس السوري أدلى بتصريحات يرفض فيها حضور القمة العربية في بغداد، ادعاء غير صحيح.
