تحقق فريق منصة مُسند من الصور المتداولة باستخدام أدوات البحث العكسي، وتبيّن أن الصور قديمة، وكانت قد نُشرت سابقًا في 28 مارس 2025، وتشير حقيقتها إلى اندلاع حريق في إحدى مصفّات النفط الخام البدائية غير الرسمية بمديرية القطن في وادي حضرموت.
